Sandra and I send our sincere condolences to Joe and family. Being a "distant" cousin as I lived in Victoria, I only got to see Elaine when we would come for summer holidays. And while I haven't seen Elaine since she moved from Yorkton I still have fond memories of playing with her while our parents visited. I hope that Joe and the rest of her family will find some solace in knowing that she will be missed by all those who were privileged to know her.

A memory : Elaine and I worked together at the Bay in Yorkton, where she ran the office and cash office . She was loved by everyone there . One day I was working in the back and came across 4 finger tips . Wanting to have a little fun I took the fingertips , taped them to my fingertips , wrapped them with a paper napkin and covered them with ketchup . Then I went to the front office and said. ' Elaine , I have a problem, showing her my hand with the fingertips and ketchup . WHAT I DIDN'T know was that Elaine didn't like blood . She almost fainted . What I thought would get a laugh was almost a disaster. Rest in peace Elaine .
