Ellen Eileen Dixon, resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Wetaskawin, passed away peacefully on Saturday December 5, 2015, at the age of 85 years.

Eileen is survived by her daughters: Dixie (Tom) Robideau and Margo Mowchan; grandchildren: Murray (Ashley) Rupertus, Michael (Lisa) Duda, Marteena Duda and Devin Robideau; great grandchildren: Jeremy Brewster, Sean Cunningham, Dakota Foley, Carley Duda, Tanner Rupertus, Jordyn Rupertus and Sophie Robideau as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and loved ones.

Eileen was predeceased by her infant son Murray, parents Arthur and Alice Dixon, brother Fred Dixon, sister and brother in-law Francis and Court Etherington, her first husband Allan Brewster and second husband Bill Gipson.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 11, 2015, at 2:00pm, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Grande Prairie (11212 102 St.) with a lunch to follow.

A Viewing will be held at 1:00pm, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Interment will be at the Claresholm Cemetery on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 12:00pm. Lunch to follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Claresholm, Alberta.

Memorial Donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
