My thoughts and prayers are with you both at this difficult time.

We are so sorry for your loss, but find comfort knowing that Elsie is resting peacefully in heaven. She was always so fun at the family reunions - enjoying life, opening her home, and making me smile. I'll always remember her banging the pots and pans at the hotel in Penticton all those years ago. She made the reunions fun. She was so welcoming and her laughter was contagious. Aunt Elsie and Janet attending our wedding was a highlight for me. She was my very special Aunt Elsie, gone but not forgotten.

Our prayers are with each of you during this loss. Aunt Elsie was always so much fun each time we saw her, smiling and having a good time everywhere. She was also a very considerate person, asking of my family at home and making sure Mom and I were taken care of on each trip. I very much enjoyed our time together at our reunions. We would talk about anything from flowers to funny remembrances. Her laughter was contagious. She would tell me of the events in her life at that moment. Our talks might be full of fun or very serious. They were always from her heart, and this I looked forward to each reunion. Aunt Elsie has moved on now. But please know that God is holding her, loving her and healing her. She is at rest and is happily enjoying her heavenly family. When she looks down on this earth she wants us to be happy for her and to know that she is being well taken care of. And she is looking forward to the day when we are all in heaven together enjoying another family reunion. Diane and Joey Little

My heartfelt sympathy to the family on the loss of your mother.. .I feel blessed to have had Elsie as my close sister. Growing up in the depression , we were unaware of any hardship. Who feels deprived in a large, loving family and with a sister always ready for fun. Elsie will be remembered as the ultimate entertainer. No family reunion was complete without some generous supply of Elsie's merriment. And now that she has gone to her final resting place, I feel her spirit will always be with us, encouraging a smile. I pray you are resting in peace, dear sister. .. with love,Irene

Dear Maureen, Janet, & Family.......So very sad to hear of your Moms passing. Every time I drive down Sturgeon Rd past your old development I think about her and both of you. She was a very generous, kind, caring person. I know that because of the few years she spent with Tracey and Adam. I also know that her early influence on them greatly affected their lives in a very positive way. For that, I will forever be grateful. Whenever we talk about Elsie over the dinner table Tracey & Adam will often laugh and giggle about the good fun times they had with her. Our family will always remember her with fondness.
