It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ervin Peters. Ervin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Beaverlodge Hospital, with his family by his side, at the age of 83 years old.

Ervin was born on March 15, 1933 in Fairholme, Saskatchewan, where he met and married Anne Beherns. Ervin and Anne made their home in Saskatchewan and soon moved to BC and then settled in Hythe, AB.

Ervin will be remembered for his hard work as a farmer, truck driver and his unconditional love for his family, his faith and his friends. Ervin’s faith was strong to the very end until God took him home.

Ervin is lovingly remembered by his wife Anne (Beherns); daughter Patricia (Dennis) Viken and grandchildren: Deven (Caitlin) Viken and great-grandchildren: Kohen and Graeden; grandson Kory Viken and his fiancée Amy Meis; daughter Francine Ricard and grandson: Shawn (Eleanor) Wagar and great-grandchildren: Beau and Wren; granddaughter Leslie (Jacob) Durand and great-grandchildren: Nikayla and Lucas; son Jarrod (Nadine) Peters and granddaughter Jillian (Andrew) Graham and great-grandchildren: Clarette and Dewey; Garrick Callihoo and Jade Callihoo; grandchildren: Tyler Peters and Logan Peters (Children of late son Terry).

Ervin was predeceased by his parents: George and Bertha Peters, his son Terry Lamont Peters, his granddaughter Nicole Peters and his brother Jim Peters.

The Viewing will be held Sunday, April 17, 2016, from 4-8:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave).

The Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 18, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Beaverlodge Alliance Church (409 10^th St.).

Memorial Donations may be made to Bear Lake Bible Camp (Box 390, Sexsmith, AB, T0H 3C0).
