Obituary For Erwin Sanfred Christenson

It is with broken hearts we inform you of the passing of our beloved husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa. After a brief stay in the Beaverlodge Hospital, Erwin passed peacefully on Friday, December 15, 2023, with family by his side, at the age of 85 years.

Survived by his loving wife of 63 years Gail, and children Russell (Cathy) and Cathie (Greg) Weller; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Dr. Parmar and the staff at the Beaverlodge Hospital for the wonderful care he received there.

Erwin was such kind, considerate man, that his family would like to continue his legacy by asking you to be kind to one another and lend each other a helping hand.

Donations made in lieu of flowers will be forwarded to Erwin’s great nephew, Arden Lockhart, to assist with his journey.

A Celebration of Life for Erwin Sanfred Christenson will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hythe Legion (9818 100 Ave, Hythe, AB).

We will be sharing some of our favorite stories and celebrating a life so well lived!
