Evelyn Chugg passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017, in Mesa, Arizona, at the age of 90 years.

She was born January 19, 1927, in Kirkcaldy, Alberta and moved with her family to a farm near Clairmont. She finished her education in Grande Prairie and then attended Bible School at Briercrest, Sask.

Evelyn moved to the Seattle area and held dual citizenship in both the USA and Canada. She was the first woman in the USA to receive her Insurance Underwriters Certification.

All of her life she faithfully supported missionaries including a brother and nieces and nephews. She was active in her church, loved hiking/walking and watching sports (Seahawks/Mariners/Huskies).

She had many long term friendships that blessed her life and her passion was that all would know the love of Jesus.

She was predeceased by her parents Edgar and Mary Chugg; her brothers: Elmer, Norman and Allan; and her sisters: Annie, Ruby and Laura.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister Luella (Ken) Hillmer and by her nieces and nephews and their children (over 200).
