We wish we could be there for the funeral but because we have Fred with us we are unable to get away at this time. We have so many good memories of your mom. We stopped and saw her in the hospital the last time we were in Spirit River in October.   See above message. We remembered Florence and her sisters at our cousins gathering here in Wisconsin where we do our remembering of our deceased relatives. . Florence and her sisters were my dadâ??s first cousins. Florence mother Jesse was my great aunt. As I mentioned above, I met Florence in Tomah, Wisconsin when she came to meet her cousins in the states in the 1960â??s. I was in my teens and now I am 70. When she came to our front door and my dad with a big smile greeted her with an open door, I got to meet this smiling woman who was excited to meet us too! She had dark hair and dark eyes and a warm gracious smile. I had never met anyone from Canada before. Florence was an exotic mystery to me. To think we had relatives in faraway Alberta. Peace to our northern relatives and greeting to the family of our blood relatives. We have been thinking about you all.
