Obituary For Floyd Chester Harding

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Floyd. Left to cherish his many memories are his loving wife, Janet McTavish-Harding; daughter, Sandra Schenk; son, Colin Harding; siblings, George (Gloria) Harding, Barbara (Rene) Prevost, Charlotte Harding and Norma Corke; two grandchildren, Ross Schenk and Mitchel Schenk; and numerous nieces and nephews. Floyd was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Elizabeth Harding; his brother, Larry Harding; his twin brother, Lloyd; and daughter, Brenda Harding.

He was born in Sexsmith, Alberta and passed away in Red Deer, Alberta. He lived in Valhalla Center Alberta from 1945-1952, Beaverlodge Alberta from 1952-1957, Clairmont Alberta from 1957-2009 and finally settled down in Blackfalds Alberta from 2009-2018. He made his living as a mechanic, a farmer and a truck driver. Floyd loved going for scenic drives, watching curling, bull riding and chuck wagon races.

A Fellowship service will be held at a later date.
