Obituary For Forrest Howard Anderson
Forrest Howard Anderson, lifelong resident of the Peace Country, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Grande Prairie Care Centre, at the age of 73 years.
Forrest is survived by his wife of 28 years Shirley Anderson and his children: Glenn Anderson, Donna Anderson, Trent Blew (Barbie) and Tracy Golnick (Dan Sauvé); as well as a very large and loving extended family.
For many years our Papa owned the Eaglesham Corner Store and prior to retiring, Forrest enjoyed his career as a Partsman at Nortux for 25 years.
Papa’s true passion was his grandkids. Missing their Papa are: Kristina Kobzarev (Bohdan) and Jarad Anderson, Devin Franklin, Tyler Sheridan and Kaitlyn Blew, Analeigh and Jyllian Golnick, Paige and Hunter Sauvé and great-granddaughter Amelia Franklin.
Forrest was predeceased by his parents Howard and Evelyn Anderson, brothers Jack and Carlisle Anderson, and special granddaughter Madisyn Blew.
Please join us in celebrating our Papa’s life on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 11:00am. Papa loved being surrounded by his family and friends, so bring your memories, laughter, a comfy chair, and help celebrate at our home, 10118 92 St., Grande Prairie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke of Alberta (Unit 109, 10126-120 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 8H9).
