Obituary For Francesco Pucci

Francesco “Frank” Pucci, passed away in his home on Thursday, October 29, 2020, surrounded by his children and Daria Magnone at the age of 82 years, after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on February 9, 1938, in Savuto Di Cleto, Italy, and moved to Grande Prairie on February 16, 1967, with his young family. He was an exceptional husband, provider, caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Frank was an Italian immigrant who worked hard for a better life in Grande Prairie. He loved gardening, and visits with his family and friends sharing an espresso or two.

He is survived by his loving children: Angelo (Angie) Pucci, Francesca (Pasquale) Caputo, Giovannina (Jake) Schmidt, Gennaro (Maria) Pucci, and Eva Couture (George Bouchard); grandchildren: Giuseppe (Denise), Danny, Christina (Mike), Gino (Candice), Jessica (Ron), Jennifer (Justin), Melissa (Gabriel), Lisa (Brandon), Erika (Chris), Michael, Nicholas, and Kristofer; great-grandchildren: Logan, Jasmine, Jaden, Jayla, Max, Elijah, Benjamin, Jeremiah, Freya, Sofia, Olivia, Elia, Jaziel, and Julia.

He was predeceased by his wife Assunta Pucci; parents Angelo and Francesca; parents in-law Giovanna and Carmine; son in-law Ron Couture; granddaughter Sabrina Pucci; great-grandson Ronnie Flemons; and other family; Antonio, Nella, Gennaro, Filomena, Salvatore, Barbara, Antonio, Ermina, Antonio, Antonetta, Giuseppe and Silvio.

A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at 11:00am.
