Frank Marcel Pain, resident of Emerald Gardens in Grande Prairie, AB, passed away in Grande Prairie on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the age of 88 years.

He is survived by his children: Gary (Janice) Pain, Judi Litzenberger (Kim Meyers) and Frances (Ron) Smith; grandchildren: Brent (Ricole) Litzenberger, Jorden (Tom) Habib, Erieanna (Zach) Orich, Rachael Litzenberger (Peter Schlief), Garrett (Brandi) Smith, Royce Pain, and Malloy Pain; great-grandchildren: Abigayle, Alekzander, Ender, Quinn, and Mckenzie.

Frank was predeceased by his wife Clara in 2004.

Frank and family lived in the NWT for many years before moving from Inuvik to Grande Prairie in the late 70’s, where Frank continued in his welding business until his retirement.

One of Dad’s favorite hangouts was Muskoseepi Park, where, when he was able, he could be found walking with his dog and his companion Max and visiting with the pavilion staff. Thank you Chad and Carla. Your generosity of time and conversation meant everything!

A private memorial for Frank was held by the family.
