Gail Juanita Lamoureux, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Midland, ON, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 82 years.

Gail was born December 29, 1939, in Parry Sound, ON. She was raised in Georgian Bay, ON. She graduated from Midland Secondary school. She was a physical therapist at Georgian village and Manor. She was also a supervisor for motor vehicle licencing in the Northwest Territories.

She loved the outdoors, walking, birds, water, and being out in the boat. She was a mother to all. She loved to laugh, put others before herself, and loved to explore. She enjoyed volunteering and helping people in the building she lived in.

Gail will be sadly missed by her children: Bill (Sancie) Gostick, Chris (Louise) Gostick, and Jeff (Cassaundra) Lamoureux; grandchildren: Kayla, Kristin, JJ, Gavyn, Allen, and Kamilah; great-grandchildren: Madison, Brooklyn, Jeramiah, and McKinley; and siblings: Gary Rourke, Gillard Rourke, and Bonnie Cayley.

She was predeceased by her first husband Allen Gostick, second husband John Morley Lamoureux, siblings Glen Rourke and Garnet Rourke, and parents Frank and Juanita Rourke.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 11:00 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.).
