Dear Brian and Joan. It was with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Geoff on Dec.31. I cannot imagine the pain you are dealing with as you try to come to grips with this tragic event in your lives. I still remember so fondly the friendly, welcoming smile that Geoff always wore in my classroom and in all the times we spent together in hockey settings. I remember the great times that your family spent together with my family as we cheered on the boy's efforts in hockey. My son Greg enjoyed several memorable reunions with Geoff and the gang since he left Grand Prairie many years ago..the most recent being at a golfing get-together just a couple of years ago at the Davie's household in Vernon. Both of my boys contacted me immediately upon hearing the news about Geoff and conveyed the sadness they felt at his loss. Therefore, please accept my sincerest condolences, Brian and Joan, from myself and my boys and extend them to Matt and to Geoff's wife whom I have not had the opportunity to meet. My prayers are with you in the weeks and months ahead as you learn to cope with the devastation that has fallen upon your family. Take care and all the best to you.
