George Wall, resident of Rocky Lane, AB, formerly of La Crete, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 48 years.

George was born September 11, 1970 on Fort Vermilion, AB, to Henry and Eva Wall and was raised in the surrounding area. He set roots in the Rocky Lane area, where he raised his family. Through the years, he had many different professions including equipment operating, horse logging, and farming. He enjoyed living a simple life and spent most of his time outdoors.

George was stubborn, independent, hardworking, outspoken, and would always tell you exactly what he thought. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and farming.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Shawn Wall, Dustin Wall, Michael Wall, Darcy Wall, Jessie Wall, and Chelsey Wall; grandchild Ellis Wall; father Henry (Mary) Wall; siblings: Eva (Abe) Wiens, Bill (Betty) Wall, MaryAnne (Keith) Richardson Lisa (Dwayne) Mindus, and Lena (Warren) O’Reilly.

He was predeceased by his mother Eva Wall, nephew Russel Lehoux, and cousin David Braun.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 1:00pm, at Rocky Lane School (Rocky Lane Rd, Fort Vermilion, AB).
