Obituary For Gladys Van Roestel
Gladys Van Roestel, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Points West Hospice, at the age of 76 years.
Gladys was born on September 21, 1941 in Sturgeon Lake, She attended Mission School in Sturgeon Lake. She was very crafty and did a lot of native crafting. She was very well loved.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years John, and her grandson Tyrell Kidney.
She was predeceased by her parents Pearl and Moise Moostoos; two sons Clark Donald and Melvin Curtis; two sisters Irene Mitchell and Lillian Moostoos; and two brothers John Moostoos and Donald Moostoos.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at 11:00am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grande Prairie (10404 102 St.). A Viewing will be held prior at 10:00am. Interment to follow the Service at Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave. and 112th St.).
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
