Glenn Speedtsberg, resident of Sexsmith, AB, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 53 years.

Glenn was born in Barrhead, AB, and was a lifelong resident of the Peace Region. He spent his years as a family man and a working man. Glenn was a very humble and thoughtful man. He had a great sense of humor and the ability to make anyone feel welcome. Glenn enjoyed spending his time fishing, camping, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Leslie Speedtsberg (Walker); his children: Brandon Speedtsberg, Melisa Speedtsberg and Amy Speedtsberg; grandchild:

Isabelle Doucet; siblings: Solveig Speedtsberg Zamalynski, Lillian Speedtsberg and Jim Speedtsberg; cousin Ossa Knoblauch; and many good friends.

Glenn was predeceased by his parents Hans and Rita Speedtsberg.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 1:00pm at Webster Community Hall (14km north of Sexsmith, RR53, just north of Twp 744).
