Glennys Adrian, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Brooks, AB, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 78 years.

Glennys Rae Adrian was born in Brooks, AB, in 1945. She was raised in central Alberta, planted roots in the BC interior and finally settled in Grande Prairie, in 1987 for the remainder of her life. As a young adult, she met her true love Keith through Duff who had set up a blind date for her and Keith, which resulted in a beautiful lifelong marriage. She loved her work in administration, raising her kids as a stay-at-home mom, and eventually working alongside her husband until their retirement.

Her greatest person of inspiration in life was her mom, Leone Fern Jones. Her greatest accomplishments were living for her family, giving them all the love and pride her heart held for them, her marriage to Keith, her birth to her sons, and enjoying being around her family.

Her fondest memories were extensively camping and the many trips with family to McBride, BC, to visit Ken and Anita Jones. She enjoyed travelling all across North America on holidays and business trips.

Glennys Adrian is survived by Keith Adrian, her husband of 54 years; sons Brian Adrian (Sandi Brazinha) and Daryl Adrian (Rae-Lyn Adrian, predeceased); granddaughters: Jasmine Bainbridge, Tristan Adrian (Kirk Brenton), Elizabeth Adrian, and Sarah Adrian (Toni Adrian); sister in-law Anita Jones (brother Ken Jones, predeceased); as well as nieces Shay Jones and Deborah Jones.

She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Leone Jones; sister Patricia Levesque (Claude Levesque); brother Ken Jones; as well as daughter in-law Rae-Lyn Adrian.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at 2:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.). Interment to follow at the Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave. and 112th St.).
