Obituary For Gordon Himer
Gordon Himer, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie at the age of 89 years, with his loving family by his side.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, children: Ken, Darlene (Darrell), Joyce (Richard) and Dana; grandchildren: Tim (Stacy), Andrea (Lance), Nathan, Jason, Amber (Cory) and Cara; great-grandchildren: Leighton, Leo, Zoey, Ryan, Breeana, Branden and Devon; brothers: Steve (Cathy), Jim, John, Bert (Brigitte) and Willy; sisters: Margaret, Mary (Albert), Lil and Helen.
He was predeceased by his father Joseph, mother Izabel, sister Betty, brother Joe, son Donald and grandson Adam.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of AB & NWT (#102 9823 116 Ave. Grande Prairie, AB T8V 4B4).
