Obituary For Gwendolyn Haigh Willson
Gwen Willson passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 77 years, after a short battle with cancer.
Gwen will be sadly missed by her daughter Lee (Allan) Hayes, granddaughter Shawna (Rick) Thiessen, great-grandson Darius, sister Elaine (Michael) Bladon, brother Don Haigh (Betty Pow), nieces, nephews and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert (July 2015), her parents George and Evelyn Haigh, and her in-laws Harley and Edna Willson.
The Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 11:00am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society (Box 21215, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7), or to a charity of one’s choice.
