I am so sad to hear of Harlees' passing. He was one of the first people that I met and worked with, at Nowsco Well Service when I moved to Grande Prairie, so many years ago, He was kind and funny and a very good friend. He will be missed.

As I get older I find it progressively harder to lose someone I know. Maybe it's because I myself am closer to the end. When you have history with someone, and lots of it, it's that much harder! Harlan and I grew up together. Probably spent more time together than with our families. School does that; eleven years to be exact. I describe him as kind, caring, funny and infinitely likeable man. Indeed lovable! Just one of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege to know! 60 years on this Earth! Wow, that's just not enough. I suppose no time is ever enough. I regret not being able to come and honour his passing. I shall be thinking of him and you; his family and friends; wishing you peace and wonderful memories! Joyce Bolen (Koch) a former classmate (1964-1974) a friend! Sent from my iPad
