Harry “Ken” Unruh, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Creston, BC, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital, at the age of 78 years.

Ken was born in Liard, SK, however, he spent his formative years in Kimberly, BC. He married his beloved wife, Karen in 1967. Ken began his career in Vancouver, BC, as a partsman with Finning Tractor, which eventually led to him residing in Fort Nelson, BC, with his family until his retirement in 2001. After retirement, he took on various jobs to fulfill his days.

Ken enjoyed many outdoor activities and hockey, however his greatest passion was watching his children and grandchildren succeed in their pursuits.

Ken will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Karen Unruh; children: Steven (Tanya) Unruh and Lorene (Stephen) Hann; as well as grandchildren: Kory Koenig, Jayme Unruh, and Tyson Hann.

Ken was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, and two of his sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held for family at a later date.
