Obituary For Harry Robert Imler
Harry Robert Imler, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Golden, BC, passed away February 10, 2023, at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at the age of 81 years.
Harry was born in Parson, BC, on April 2, 1941, to Andrew and Ethel Imler. He was the seventh child of twelve.
He grew up living and working in Columbia Valley, BC. He worked as a truck driver, and then a loader operator in the logging industry for over 40 years. Then he was a cabinet installer in Calgary, AB and then in Grande Prairie.
Harry will be sadly missed his wife Linda; sons: Shawn (Michelle), and Darren (Christie); brothers: Herb, Ted, and Doug Imler; sisters: Margaret Johnson, Marlene Davis, Cathy O’Grady, and Ida Starkewski; grandchildren: Cassandra (Adam), Dustin (Sierra), Alyssa (Will), Fox, Cole, and Brock; as well as his great- grandchildren.
A Viewing will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 7:00 pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home, in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave).
A Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, February 18, at 1:30 pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home. Interment will take place at later date in Golden, BC.
