Obituary For Helen Ann Klukas

Helen Ann Klukas (Johnson) (nee Krzysik) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at the age of 79 years.

Helen was born November 24, 1937, in Sexsmith, AB, and resided in the Sexsmith, Bad Heart, and Grande Prairie areas all her life.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Patrick Johnson, Brenda (Jim) McMurphy, Rod (Marg) Johnson, Diane (Darcy) Rautenstrauch, and Carrie (George) Wohlgemuth. She is survived by 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Helen is also mourned by her siblings: Ben (Donna) Krzysik, Barb (Lou) Martin, Theresa (Ross) Moon, and Patricia Hamel; sisters in-law Veva (Frank) Campbell and Dianne Krzysik; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Helen was predeceased by her daughter Patty, husbands Robert and Edward, parents John and Veronica, siblings Robert and Stevie, as well as many in-laws.

A Funeral Service for the late Helen Klukas will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 1:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

Memorial donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada - AB and NWT Division (150, 9405 50 St., Edmonton, AB, T6B 2T4).
