Obituary For Helen Donohue Kellogg

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen Kellogg on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, at the age of 71 years.

Helen was born on September 18, 1947 in Grande Prairie AB, to parents Catherine and Peter Donohue. She married James Lester Kellogg on September 3, 1966.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, James Lester Kellogg; grandson, Kyle Harper; sisters Jeannette Donohue and Mary Withers; and brothers Pat Donohue and John Donohue.

Helen is survived by her brother, Glenn Donohue; sisters: Bernice Lewis and Alice Ringguth; children: Kelly (Todd), Karla (Shane), Chenda (Bill), and Colleen; her grandchildren: K.C., Caleb, Catlin, Tyson, Ashlee, Carl, Torrance and Hayley; great-grandchildren: Liam, Jewel, Cashtyn, Ryan and Conner; as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00am at People’s Church in Grande Prairie (11850 108 St.). Lunch to follow then interment at the Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave. and 112th St.).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada (#220 6223 2 St. SE, Calgary, AB T2H 1J5), or to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation (800 College Plaza 8215 112 St., Edmonton, AB T6G 2C8).
