Obituary For Holly Donna Rigler

Holly was born on November 11, 1974 in Grande Prairie, AB to Gary and Margery “MJ” Rigler. On Sunday, January 27, 2019, this rare gem, with her family by her side, left her place on this earth to be with Jesus.

Holly lived a simple, but abundant life; her door was always open to any and every one. She freely gave anything and everything she had, desiring to help others.

Left to cherish her memories and carry on her legacy is her daughter Amelia Rigler with her son Kayden and daughters Madison and Sophia; daughter Rayne Rigler with her daughter Jackyln; “adopted daughter” Mikala Cross (Sheldon Braun) with daughters London and Hailey-Dawn and son Tucker; brother Craig Rigler; sister Jamie Rigler; brother Daniel (Jody) Rigler; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.

Holly was predeceased by her father Gary Rigler and mother Margery “MJ” Rigler.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019, at 11:00am, at Grande Prairie Alliance Church (15502 102 St.). Interment to follow at Grande Prairie Cemetery (84th Ave. & 112th St.).

At Holly’s request there will be no viewing.

In line with Holly’s love for the vulnerable, she asked that memorial donations be made to Saint Lawrence Center (Box 21331, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7; www.saintlawrencecentre.ca).

I pray for Peace and Strength for all of you . . and your struggling hearts . To find comfort in knowing that altho we have lost the Giver . . . we still have the Gift and what a Gift she was. God truly knew we needed someone like Holly in our lives even for a short time , I'm grateful she Graced mine . There is a song called Dancing in the Sky by Dani & Lizzy I think it's very fitting for Holly worth a listen .

Holly and her family lived behind me in Wembley, going for coffee the door was always open. Holly used to help me babysit, when I had my daycare. May prayers and thoughts go out to her family. May she now be with her loving parents.
