Obituary For Ingrid Horneland
On Monday, May 23, 2016, Ingrid passed away at Points West Hospice in Grande Prairie, at the age of 82 years.
Ingrid was born May 30, 1933. She was raised on the family farm north of La Glace and attended schools at Blooming Valley, Northfield, and La Glace before completing high school in Grande Prairie.
We will lovingly remember her devotion to and love for her family that she expressed in so many ways. We will be forever grateful.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years Fredrik; her sons: Randy (Diane), Rick (Linda) and Keith (Heather); daughter Linda (Lyle) Robideau; son Ken, son Curtis (Shelly), and daughter Alison (Lyle) Dalgleish. She is also survived by her sister Kristine Sandboe; brothers: Peter Pederson and Jesse Pederson; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins in Norway.
Ingrid was predeceased by her father Ole Pederson, mother Anne Pederson, and her sister Linda Pederson.
Mom requested that there be no Funeral Service.
Many thanks to Dr. Lewis, Dr. Barreth, the hospital staff on 5 North, and the hospice staff for their exceptional care and compassion.
Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Grande Prairie Hospice Palliative Care Society (Box 21215, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 6W7).
