Obituary For Irene Webb

Irene Webb, resident of Beaverlodge, AB, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in her home, at the age of 85 years.

Irene was born on a farm near Wembley, AB, on May 3, 1932. She was raised in Beaverlodge and also attended school there. Irene started her career at CIBC and was assistant manager in Beaverlodge for many years. She lived a busy life raising her three boys and working fulltime. She was famous throughout the community for her buns and pie. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as well as her great-grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Irene loved golfing, her yard and flowers, curling and watching sports on TV. She enjoyed her time at the Lossing Centre playing cards and Bingo and volunteered at a thrift store for many years.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Darcy (Barb) Webb, Robert (Shelley) Webb, Greg (Cara) Webb; brother Delbert and sisters Ruth and Ilene; grandchildren: Ashley (Dale) Cordingley, Joseph Webb, Jeff (Quinn) Webb, Addison and Maylee Webb; great-grandchildren: Jayden Webb, Layla Webb, Wyatt Webb and Jaxon Webb.

She was predeceased by her parents Ida and Rusty Olson, sisters Evelynne Hogg and Maxine Davis; brothers Harold Olsen and Alan Olsen.

The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Lossing Centre in Beaverlodge, AB.

Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (1800, 10250 101 St., Edmonton, AB, T5J 3P4).

    Sending my sincere condolences to all of the family & friends of Irene. I got to know her during my time at the Beaverlodge Cultural Centre and enjoyed our monthly coffee together. So sorry for your loss
