Obituary For Isabelle Marie Longmore
On Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the age of 85 years, Isabelle Marie Longmore began her new journey waltzing with the angels.
Isabelle was born on April 3, 1937, to Lydia and Isiadore Klein. She was raised on the family farm, south of Moose Jaw, SK, along with her brother Eddie.
In 1956, she met Robert “Bob” Longmore and they were married shortly afterward. It didn’t take long and their first son Lee came along. The family grew over the next fifteen years welcoming Brian, Billy, Teddy, Cory, and their baby girl Cindy to the family.
In 1973, they headed west to Alberta seeking new opportunities for themselves and their boys. They enjoyed many years of family, friendships, and parties, and have shared lots of stories over the years.
Isabelle loved music, curling, dancing, cooking, and feeding anyone and everyone that came along. She was a people person and loved hard with everything she had.
Isabelle will forever be loved and missed by her children: Brian, Billy (Barb), and Cory (Carol); her grandchildren: Bailey (Calvin), Taylor, Colton (Chelsea), Tyke (Nathaly), and Brooklyn (Curtis); and 10 great grandchildren; her sister in-law Elaine Klein and brother Michael (Andrea) Crunden; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Isabelle was predeceased by her husband Bob; children: Lee, Teddy, and Cindy; great- grandchild Cole; parents Isadore and Lydia; and her brother Eddie.
The family would like to thank the Valleyview Health Centre where Isabelle spent her last year making wonderful friends, having good laughs, and being spoiled by the extremely caring and wonderful staff.
