Jack Bohn of Grande Prairie, formerly of La Glace, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the age of 92 years.

Jack was born September 12, 1924 to Fred and Agnes Bohn, the youngest of three children after brother Jim and sister Renee. Jack lived most of his 92 years on the family farm in La Glace.

On November 19, 1949 he married Esther Johnson. Jack and Esther built a life together on the farm, raising their three children: Rod, Lois and Candis. The community was very important to Jack and he sat on many boards and committees. Camping and fishing were favourite past times, especially if family and friends were along.

Jack is survived by his children: Rod (Joan), Lois (Ed) and Candis; grandchildren: Lindsay (Steven), Troy (Roxanne), Michelle (Jordan), Shawn, Amber (Jason), Leona (Rob), Laura (Shay) and Steven; his 10 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife Esther and son-in law Camille.

Funeral Service for Jack will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016, at 2:00pm, at Calvary Lutheran Church in La Glace. Following the service the family invite you to share a fellowship lunch in the church wing.
