Obituary For Jack "Jake" Janzen

Jack “Jake” Janzen, resident of the Hythe area, passed away peacefully Friday, September 20, 2019, at the Beaverlodge Hospital, at the age of 91 years.

Jake will be sadly missed by his children: Jack (Cheryl) Janzen, Evelyn (Vic) Siebert, Bob (Sharon) Janzen, Milt (Filomena) Janzen, and Lavonne (Steve) Petkau; grandchildren: Heather (Jim) Goertzen, Derek (Jessie) Janzen, Carmen (Luke) Willms, Mark (Faith) Siebert, Eric (Jana) Siebert, Luke (Lindy) Siebert, Christy (Steve) Ewert, Aaron (Erin) Janzen, Heidi (Steve) Magill, Shawn (Cheri) Janzen, Nathan (Andrea) Janzen, Jolene (Lynden) Friesen, Jacqueline (Gordie) Peters, and Tiffany Petkau; sisters Helene Franz and Anne (Johnny) Friesen; as well as many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Jake’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 1:00pm, at La Glace Bible Fellowship (9901 99 St.).

Memorial donations may be made to Peace River Bible Institute (Box 99, Sexsmith, AB, T0H 3C0) or to Beaverlodge Hospital Foundation (Box 480, Beaverlodge, AB, T0H 0C0).

    I am so sorry to read of the passing of your Dad. He was a wonderful man. I always remember him (and your Mom) as such a beautiful couple in so many ways. He will be missed; he was an integral part of the family. I pray that you will experience God's peace at this time.
