Obituary For Jack Thomas Tarangul

Jack Tarangul, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Vancouver, BC, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020, in Grande Prairie, at the age of 81 years.

Jack was born January 6, 1939 in Vancouver, where he was also raised and met his beautiful wife, Ann. Jack and Ann were married for just under 61 years.

Jack worked for Texas Refinery Corp of Canada for 38 years as top salesman. He was the manager for various trucking companies in BC and Alberta for many years prior.

He was the kindest and most generous man ever. His favourite saying was “You’re lookin’ good today”. Jack loved woodworking, camping, anything Elvis, and war movies and documentaries. His biggest passion was family. His next love was animals, and he was known to bring strays home.

Jack will be sadly missed by his wife Ann Tarangul; children: Debbie Tarangul, Tom (Lisa) Tarangul, and Randy Tarangul; grandchildren: Desiree (Jason) Hansen, Jackie Brown, Stacey (Dustin) Froese, Andrew (Rachelle) Brown, and Victoria (Chris) Tarangul; and great-grandchildren: Karlie, Brooke, Ava, Chance, Ryker, Nova, Parker, and Memphis.

He was predeceased by his daughter Corrine Hausauer (2004), and daughter in-law Cora Haagsman (2017).

As per Jack’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.

Memorial donations may be made to Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue Association (9920 91 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 0G3).
