I knew Jim for 21 years, I was his neighbor to the south side, but lived in Edmonton. We would always chat about politics, sports, stocks, cars, and life in general. He was always interested in the places I worked at, and I always brought him a souvenir, like seal mitts from the arctic, a boomerang from Australia, and a coffee mug & jacknife from the Will Rodgers museum in Clairmore Oklahoma. He was always there for advice, and to keep an eye on my place while I was away working. We shared custody of the white kitty, and both helped him make it to 20 years old, giving him an IV once a week for his final year. That cat was a legend at Baker Hughes and very well known, and so was Jim. The world is less one kind hearted person. Miss you Jim, you will never be forgotten!!

I met Jim a few years ago at Crystal Lake dock. I have enjoyed many visits with this gentle man and will truly miss him and his smile.
