Obituary For Janet Elizabeth Mahoney

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Janet Elizabeth Mahoney, on March 10th, 2025.

Janet was a true lover of all things fun, loud and unforgettable. Whether it was throwing legendary events or being the life of the party, she always knew how to light up a room.

Beyond her love for a good time, Janet had a deep passion for painting and gardening. Her creations reflected her free-spirited nature, which was bright, colorful, and full of life.

Janet was the kind of person who believed every moment deserved to be celebrated; in her honor, we ask that everyone raise a glass “pinkies up”, tell a story and keep the party going in her memory. After all, that’s exactly what she would have wanted.

Janet will be sadly missed by her husband Keith Metcalfe, her son Jake Mahoney, her daughter Tara Neary, her grandchildren, Brianna, Trinity, Deklin, Beau, her great grandson Sabastian, and her dogs, Willy Nelson, and Dolly Parton.

The Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, March 15th, 2:30 pm at Janet’s home.

I have many memories but the one that has always stuck with me was when I was in grade 4 or 5 and a girl said she was going to beat me up after school, why I have no idea! But I told Janet and the rest is history and nobody ever said those words to me again! She clocked her 😂🤣😂 and I was so proud of her for that 💗🤗💗
