Obituary For Jason Delorme
Jason Van Halen Delorme joined his youngest brother, Dallas, on a journey through the stars on Saturday, November 4, 2017.
Jason was born February 26, 1981.
He is survived by his parents Doreen and Richard; siblings Deidra and Rick; son Kareem; and spouse Alyssa. He is lovingly remembered by his grandmother Margaret who called him “my heart”, and grandfather Charlie whom he shared a home and special bond with; and his aunts and uncles who either helped raise him or grew up beside him.
Jason held his traditional values and infused them into his daily life. He wanted his life to be a lesson to others, whether it be as a role model, community leader, or a great friend. He wanted us all to be reminded not to take each other for granted, and that we don’t pass through this life unscathed.
In this time, we need to put aside politics and old grievances to be strong together and carry this momentum of togetherness into the future to create positive change.
Jason will be missed by many, but the memories of what we had with him will remind us that his life was full.
A Wake will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 2:00pm, at Eagles Nest Hall in Grande Cache.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at 12:00pm, at Eagles Nest Hall in Grande Cache.

So sorry for your loss. There are are no words that can describe the heartbreak you feel. We had the pleasure of sharing some visits with Jason, and meeting you at graduation. Your sons smile, could light up an entire room, his heart welcoming all in it. We are so grateful to have shared even a small part of his life, he had so much love to share. A million stars will shine to remind us of his loss. Bryanna will miss him, they were great friends. Our love to you Doreen and your Family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you

My heart is with your family at this difficult time. Jason loved you all so dearly, and would go to the ends of the earth for his loved ones. I am thankful for his friendship, for all he taught us and the passion for life he portrayed. We often relive conversations we've had with him and recount his visits, as he had such a great sense of humour and fantastic stories to share. Conversations and laughter would go on for hours, and he was the type of person it felt like we'd known our whole lives. He grew to be like family to us. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
