Jealous Jerry Mangozho, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Calgary, AB, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 67 years.

Jerry was born on October 8, 1951 in Kadoma, Zimbabwe where he was raised. He was the eldest of 10 siblings. He moved in England in 1990 with his family where he became a chef and continued playing music. He moved to Canada in 1996 with his family, and 16 years later, he moved to Grande Prairie where he continued his career as a chef at the Noralta Lodge, where he worked for many years.

Jerry was easygoing, funny, wise, a music lover, people person, food lover, family man, and God fearing. He enjoyed being in the company of his friends.

He will be sadly missed by his children: Priscilla Mangozho, Victor Mangozho, and Gerald Mangozho; sister Reason Mangozho; brother Nicholas Mangozho; his friends in Grande Prairie and all the places he has lived and his family across Canada, the UK, and Zimbabwe.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 4:30pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
