Obituary For Jean Diemert

Jean Diemert, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Crooked Creek, AB, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the age of 91 years.

Jean was born in Grande Prairie on February 24, 1931. She was raised in DeBolt and Crooked Creek. She married Dewey Diemert on October 18, 1951. Jean and Dewey lived and raised their three children on their farm in Crooked Creek. After Dewey’s passing, she moved to Grande Prairie.

Jean will be sadly missed by her daughter Debbie (Duane) Haakstad, and son Pat (Koreen) Diemert; grandchildren: Mike (Heather) Haakstad, Ray Haakstad, Sam Craig, and Hazel (Jerzy) Klimek; great-grandchildren Cypher (Hazen) Retzler and Elanor Haakstad; as well as great great-grandson Van.

Jean was predeceased by her husband Dewey Diemert; daughter Bev (Ken) Craig; as well as grandson Nelson Retzler.
