So sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing, please accept our condolences. We have fond memories of the Valen family when you were neighbours of my parents in the VLA. Remember the good times and may you all keep Jeanne close to your heart.

knew Jeanne from my time working for the City of Grande Prairie, and in particular when I was involved with the Communities In Bloom Program. Jeanne & Hans had one of the most beautiful yards in Grande Prairie, and through their kind hospitality hosted the Communities in Bloom judges during one of their visits. She and Hans were instrumental to the early success of the program (national winners) in our community. Later, Jeanne was my go to person for gardening advice. She was an inspiration to me and one of the kindest, most hard working people I have ever known - she will be missed.
