It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jennifer Rebeka Spence announces her sudden and unexpected passing on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, after a brief illness at the age of 29 years.

Jen was a beautiful woman, and a wonderful mother; her world was complete the day her darling Kylie was born.

Jen will be forever remembered by her best friend and soul mate Travis Old, their precious daughter Kylie, her mother Gwen and step-father Glen Detjen, brother Leland (Sandy) Spence, nephew William; nieces: Bailey, Reata and Jaci Spence; Travis’s parents Larry and Patricia Old, his sister Donna Old and niece Hailey Wiebe. Jen will also be fondly remembered by her grandmother, numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Jen was predeceased by her father Andrew Spence, paternal grandparents Bill and Leona Spence, maternal grandfather William Pollard and step-grandparents Fred and Marge Detjen.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 1:00pm at Bonanza Hall in Bonanza, AB. Interment will follow in the family plot in the Hill Haven Cemetery.

Memorial donations in memory of Jen may be made to a trust fund for her daughter Kylie at RBC in Spirit River Alberta.

Condolences

Know Jennifer from making deliveries to where she worked. She was the friendliest receptionist in town. Always a smile and some small talk no matter how busy she was. Will really miss chatting with her. My sincerest condolences to all members of her family. This was very shocking to learn.

I will always remember her beautiful smile and heart. She used to come through the door and the sun would come with her. My heart goes out to the family at this time of loss. No words can make it better, no hugs can take away the pain. The memories of those special enough to have their lives touched by this beautiful angel will keep her near and dear.
