Bering Tim
It is awful to hear about Jerry passing away from a car accident. I always hoped to get to see him again. When I was 18 my cousin from Ontario and I went out West to Calgary and then to Kelowna. I vividly remember being with Jerry and Ron a couple of days/ nights. It was a blast. Those two young guys (they were about my age) had the world by the tail. We raced around until we ran out of gas and coasted up to a gas station that had just closed. They were able to talk the guy into opening again to give them gas and I think all they put in was $2.00! They needed the money for beer. They checked every glass of draft to make sure that it was filled to the legal line and got one free if not. It was my taste to the wild, wild West. May he rest in peace and may all of you, his family find consolation. Cousin Tim Bering and wife Karen.
