Jewel Gayleen Balisky went to be with her Lord and Saviour Friday, January 1, 2021, at the age of 8.

Jewel was born early on January 25, 2012, in Grande Prairie, AB, the fourth child of Wade and Aubrey Balisky.

Jewel loved dressing up, but the brightness of colours she would put on her nails could never match the vibrance of the colour of her personality. She was “the card” in the crowd. Simply observing her was often the best entertainment, although to her it was all just a natural expression of who she was.

Jewel had already made the most important decision in her short eight years, she had accepted what Christ did for her and asked Him to come into her heart where He would dwell forever, giving her eternal hope and eternal life found only in Jesus

Jewel loved babies and was usually holding one. She looked up to each one of her older siblings and loved them with all her heart. She will be deeply and so incredibly missed by us here, but she is now a Jewel in heaven.
