Joan Klassen, resident of Valleyview, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Valleyview Hospital, at the age of 80 years.

Joan was born April 7, 1937 in Spiritwood, SK, and came to the Valleyview area in the late 50’s.

She enjoyed chuck wagon racing, knitting, and quilting. She had knitted many sweaters over the last several years. She also loved to travel. She liked to laugh and joke, and was never one to complain.

Joan is survived by 6 children, 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

She was predeceased by her husband Norman, and children Earl, Louise, and Elaine.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 1:00pm, at Sunset House Community Hall in Valleyview. Viewing to be held prior at 12:00pm.
