Obituary For Jodie Rae Severson Tyson

Jodie Rae Tyson of Little Smoky, AB passed away at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, AB on Monday, March 9, 2020, at the age of 48 years.

Jodie was born to Lloyd and Marlene Severson in Edmonton, AB on November 26, 1971. She grew up on the family farm. She attended EW Pratt High School in High Prairie and AVC in Valleyview.

Jodie worked for the local newspaper in Fox Creek, IGA (bakery), the liquor store at the Griz, and later with Brian's books for Baldy's Service.

Jodie enjoyed many activities over the years, such as: figure skating, horseback riding, band, camping, crafting and reading. She loved living in the country, working with the cattle and horses.

Jodie was a loving wife and mother, who will be dearly missed by her husband Brian; son Evan; daughter Jayden; mother Marlene Severson; father Lloyd (Joanne) Severson; siblings: Corrie (Bob) Cropley, Clayton (Marla), Arnie, Brad, Daniel, Chris and Brogan; mother in-law Gayle Tyson; father in-law Denis (Vicky) Tyson; brother in-law John (Nicole), nieces and nephew: Jade, Celina, Aimee, Desiree, Raylin and Fyn; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
