John Lines, resident of Sexsmith, AB, formerly of Prince George, BC, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020, at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie at the age of 79 years.

John was born October 12, 1940 to Francis and Dorothy Lines and raised in Victoria, BC.

John later met Doris Smith and they were married on November 1, 1969. They raised their two children in Prince George, BC.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Doris; his children Naomi and Andy, and Mark and Frances; grandchildren: Tyler, James, and Paul; as well as his brother William (Julia) Lines.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Dorothy Lines; brothers Frank Lines, Cecil Lines, Sydney Lines, David Lines; and sister Ruth Gail.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020, at 10:00am at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

A private family Graveside service will be held at Emerson Trail Cemetery.
