Obituary For John Zimmerman
John Zimmerman, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, at the age of 81 years.
John was born in Goodfare, AB on April 29, 1935.
John is survived by his son Steve and his wife Gina; son Brent and his daughters Keeley and Natasha; sister Elaine Zimmerman; brother in-law Pete Chodak; as well as numerous other family and friends.
John was predeceased by his wife Joan, and his sister Helen Chodak.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017, at 11:00am, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).
Interment will follow at the Riverview Cemetery in Beaverlodge, at 2:30pm.
Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Alberta and NWT (102, 9823 116 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 4B4).
