Obituary For Jorma E. Bakka
Jorma E. Bakka, resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Beaverlodge, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the age of 88 years.
Jorma was a welder, farmer, and singer. He loved to break out into song, no matter where he was. He also enjoyed driving around the country and visiting people.
He will be sadly missed by his nephew Ron (Phyl) Hildenbrand, great-nieces Tara and Bethany (Dwayne) Brooks, great great-nephew Oliver, great great-niece Brynn, nephew Doug (Diane) Hildenbrand, and great-nephew Derrick.
He was predeceased by his first wife June, second wife Lucy, sister Ellie Hildenbrand, and parents Andy and Amalia Bakka.
We have lost a great man.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 3:00pm, at Victory Church on the Rock in Grande Prairie (7702 100 St.).
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
