Obituary For Joseph Novosol
On Friday, July 8, 2016, Joe Novosol lost his courageous battle with cancer. He passed away at the Grande Prairie Care Centre, at the age of 85 years.
Joe was born in Pittsburgh on January 16, 1931, in Pennsylvania, and came to Grande Prairie in 1958, where he met and married Helen Cepela. After a few years of living in the United States, he returned to Grande Prairie in 1976.
Joe spent many enjoyable summers and winters at the family cabin, hiking, playing cards and cross country skiing on sunny, Sunday winter afternoons.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Helen of 56 years; sons: Bill and Rob (Leanne); grandchildren Draven and Safari.
At Joe’s request, there will be no funeral service.
