Obituary For Julia Campbell

Julia Campbell, resident of Grande Prairie, formerly of Eaglesham, AB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2016, with her family by her side, at the age of 93 years.

Julia was born March 28, 1923 in Wayne, AB. She was married to Ted Campbell on December 28, 1942. Ted and Julia raised 5 children on the farm in Eaglesham. They retired to Grande Prairie in 1989.

Julia will be sadly missed by her children: Joan (George) Guest, Roy (Judy) Campbell and Elaine (Rod) Thibeault; son in-law Duncan Fraser; sister Helen Knutson; sister in-law Dorothy Reber; grandchildren: Allan (Leanne) Guest, Carleen Campbell, Cheryl Campbell, Jason (Amanda) Sawatzky, Renee (Steven) Little, Mark (Lindsay) Thibeault, Julianne (Matt) Fraser; great-grandchildren: Braden, Devon and Tyson McDonald and Kashtyn Sawatzky as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Julia was predeceased by her husband Ted, daughters Linda Sawatzky and Milly Fraser and grandson Georgie Guest.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at 1:00pm, at Eaglesham Hall in Eaglesham, AB.

Memorial donations may be made to Eaglesham Pleasant Heights Cemetery (Box 165, Eaglesham, AB, T0H 1H0).

    We are so sorry to hear of your loss. She was such a special lady & we know she will be missed. I remember how warm & welcoming she was to my siblings & I when we used to go stay at our Gramma Childers, just across the road from the Campbell farm. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all.
