Obituary For Karen Bainbridge

Karen Bainbridge, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Grantham, England, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Prairie Lake Seniors Community, at the age of 68 years.

Karen was born on February 6, 1954, in Grantham prematurely weighing 2 lbs and 2 oz. In 1974 she immigrated to Regina, SK. She loved swimming, tennis, badminton, and games. Karen had 5 siblings: Rosemary, Christopher, Debbie, Andrew, and Joanne.

Karen always loved her family and friends. She was kind; almost to a fault and would share her last dime with people in need. She also had a lifelong love of reading, music, and animals. She was always a food lover, especially spicy and seafood.

Karen will be sadly missed by her children Sean (Hope) and Tamar; grandchildren: Jasmine, Damian (Emily), Alexander, and Tanaya; as well as great-grandchildren: Tahlia, Hunter, Sawyer, and Freya.

    Our deepest condolences to the family. Karen was such a delight to us and we loved hearing her laughter and visiting. She will certainly be missed but we are thankful for her firm faith and trust in God and are thankful she is with Him now. Jason and Christina Wood

    I remember bringing games and snacks over playing dice game or cards. She will be missed dearly .Thankful her body is new again no more pain or sickness

    My deepest condolences. I have enjoyed working with Karen at PLSC over the past decade- she always had a contagious smile, a kind word and great intentions! She loved her books and always had a story to share about a proud moment with someone in her family. She will be missed. Tracey (PT)
