To Kela and Arne: My thoughts go out to you and your families at this difficult time. Neither Lori or I are in the country, but wish we could be there for you. Just know that your Mom loved you very much, and we have so many great memories of spending time together as a family doing what kids do! You two were my favorite half brothers to babysit! Love, Lee Ann

I'm incredibly sorry for the loss of your mom/grandma, Kathryn was an awesome woman, when I worked at Canada Post my youngest daughter was declared legally blind in one eye, her vision was 20/400, we had to patch good eye, we were talking in lunch room one day and Kathryn offered to sew patches for her to attach to glasses, we still have some of them, oh and Darbs vision went to 20/30 amazing and the patches were always fun ones and all occasions, after Kathryn retired and even after I moved to Red Deer we kept in touch and when I came back I visited her in Wenbley, I called her once since she was in new place but haven't made it back to GP I would have visited I enjoyed her company and stories she will always have a special place in my heart💞 May she rest in peace and condolences to you all.💞 From Valerie

My heart goes out to everyone in the family. She was a super lady & was still a young lady in my eyes. I was just looking two weeks ago at our fastball pics from the 1970s. Leo & Kathy at Dimsdale with the Wembley Wildcats. We had some great times over the years. I will always have great memories laughing at any stupid thing that amused us.

Our family grew to include Kathryn when Kirk (Kathrynâ??s brother) married Anna. We first met Kathryn and Leo via visits back and forth between Grande Prairie and Kamloops. Anna, Kirk, Kathryn and Leo enjoyed camping outings. Later after Leo and Kirkâ??s passing the connections continued. Our memories of Kathryn was that she loved her brother, husband, sons and grandson. She was fiercely proud of each of them and of their family history. On her last visit to Kamloops we were all together for a family gathering to remember her brother Kirk via a memorial tree and park bench. While transiting to these celebrations, Trish and Kathryn were not used to scampering around like Billy goats on the hillsides of Kamloops, they slowly â??brought up the rearâ?? and joked about how much they were going to get in trouble for being late! Kathryn always made us laugh. Our memories of Kathryn are part of us. Weâ??ve added some photos that remind us of a few: A day at their Wembley home, with Leoâ??s camp fire in the back yard, a family gathering for Kathryn and Kirks retirement party in Kamloops 2005 and our gathering at Kirks' memorial walk, in 2015. Our family send loving thoughts to you at this time of loss of your Mom, and Zachâ??s grandmother. Anna Evenrude, Trish, Marshall, Kylie and Tyler Gellatly
