Obituary For Kelsey Craig Benson

Kelsey Benson, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in Grande Prairie at the age of 33 years.

Kelsey was born on January 7, 1988, in Grande Prairie and spent his entire life here until his passing. Kelsey attended school at St. Patrick and Kateri Mission. He loved his family and friends dearly and gaming, which he took to the highest level.

Kelsey had a great sense of humour. His biggest adventures included his summers at Shambhala Music Festival at Salmo River Ranch, BC.

Kelsey will be sadly missed by his mother Patty Benson; sister Sarah Benson (Brandon); brother Daylan Benson; nephew Rylan Benson; niece Hartley Benson; lifelong friends Ron and Shanon Rose; girlfriend Melissa Warrington; as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, and second cousins.

Kelsey was predeceased by his grandmother Yvette Benson Robideau; grandfather Arthur Benson; step-grandfather Alfred Robideau; aunts Donna Jacklin, and Lynn Gauthier; uncles Leroy Benson; and cousin James Benson.

Memorial Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
